    Southern (FCS – LA): Athletic director William Broussard has been reassigned to the Southern System Presidents Office. Men’s basketball coach Roman Banks will take over as interim AD until a permanent replacement is named.

    Navy: After 18 years as the associate AD for sports medicine, Jeff Fair has decided to retire.

    Hastings College: Patty Sitorius, the associate VP for development, has been named interim athletic director.

    Hawaii: The school has named David Matlin as its new athletics director. Matlin spent the past 13 years managing ESPN’s properties in Hawaii (Hawaii Bowl, Diamond Head Classic, Hawaiian Islands Invitational).

    Cal: Memphis athletics director Tom Bowen and Cal interim AD Michael Williams are the two finalists for Cal’s open AD job, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

    Patriot League: Carolyn Schile Femovich will step down as executive director on July 31.

    North Carolina: Senior associate AD/SWA Dr. Beth Miller has announced her retirement, effective July 1.

    UMass: According to a report from the Daily Hampshire Gazette, Georgia Tech associate athletic director Ryan Bamford will be the new athletic director at UMass.

    Shorter University (D-II – GA): Shorter University has announced that athletic director Bill Peterson will retire after the spring semester after eight years.

    Syracuse: Executive senior associate athletics director for external affairs/chief communications officer Joe Giansante is no longer with the university.

    Wesleyan University: Per source, Harvard DFO Scott Lukas is leaving to accept a position with the athletic department at Wesleyan University.

    Michigan: The Wolverines have hired Stanford’s Kurt Svoboda as associate athletics director for external communications and public relations.

    Texas Tech: Associate AD for communications Blayne Beal has accepted a job outside of sports.

    UMass: According to GazetteNet, three candidates among the finalists for the AD job are former Stony Brook AD Jim Fiore, Georgia Tech Senior associate AD Ryan Bamford, and Buffalo associate AD Allan Greene.

    Hawaii: The eight-member search committee has submitted the recommendation of Hawaii Bowl executive David Matlin for the vacant AD post. Chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman is also considering Hawaii HS athletic association executive director Keith Ameniya as well, according to KHON 2.

    Syracuse: Athletic director Daryl Gross has been let go, but will remain in a position with the University, reports. The school has announced that Pete Sala will serve as the Orange’s interim AD.

    Houston: Houston has hired the search firm College Sports Solutions to assist in their search for a new athletic director.
