    LSU: A three-year contract extension for athletics director Joe Alleva has been approved for recommendation to the LSU Board of Supervisors, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate. Alleva will remain at the school through June 2019. “I hope my future is to retire from here,” Alleva said.

    Niagra: Associate athletics director for external relations Stephen Butler has been promoted to deputy athletics director.

    USC: The Pac-12 Conference has reprimanded USC athletics director Pat Haden and fined him $25,000 for “inappropriate sideline conduct” during Saturday’s USC-Stanford game. Head coach Steve Sarkisian was also reprimanded. College Football Playoff executive director Bill Hancock has announced that the CFP will take no action against Haden, who is a member of the 13-person selection committee.
