Texas A&M-Commerce (D-II): Tim McMurray, the founder and CEO of Rainmakers 123 (an organization dedicated to the career advancement of those in college athletics), has been named athletic director. Past stops for McMurray in athletics include SMU, Northern Illinois, Texas State, Lamar, and most recently Maryland where he served as senior associate AD for external affairs.

Jackson State (FCS – MS): Robert Walker has resigned as interim athletics director to spend more time with his family. Compliance director and associate AD Wheeler Brown will be the new interim AD while the school searches for a full-time replacement.

Kentucky State: Former coach William Head, who served as AD from 1985-1989, has rejoined the athletic department as athletic director.

Tennessee Wesleyan College (NAIA): Former Tennessee basketball coach Donnie Tyndall has accepted an associate AD position at Tennessee Wesleyan College according to Gary Parrish of CBS Sports. Tyndall has reportedly accepted the position on a volunteer basis.

Nevada: Pepperdine associate AD Brian Barrio will become a senior associate AD for intercollegiate services at Nevada.
Dayton: Neil Sullivan has been introduced as athletics director. He has been on staff since 2006, and currently serves as the department’s deputy AD.
