    Boston College: Marcus Blossom, the former associate AD of business operations at Providence College, has been named associate AD for business and administration at BC.

    Georgia: Executive associate athletic director Frank Crumley resigned yesterday.

    San Diego State: Bobby Smitheran has been promoted to associate athletics director for student-athlete academic support services. Smitheran has previously served as the Azetcs’ student-athlete service coordinator, director of football operations, and most recently as the compliance director.

    Maryland: Kristen Brown has joined the staff as associate athletics director for sport administration. Brown comes to College Park from the American Athletic Conference, where she served as the director of basketball administration.

    LSU: A three-year contract extension for athletics director Joe Alleva has been approved for recommendation to the LSU Board of Supervisors, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate. Alleva will remain at the school through June 2019. “I hope my future is to retire from here,” Alleva said.

    Niagra: Associate athletics director for external relations Stephen Butler has been promoted to deputy athletics director.
