    Pac-12 Conference: Associate commissioner Chris Dawson will serve as the chair of the Division I Women’s Basketball Committee for the 2015-16 season, the conference has announced.

    Fresno State: The Fresno Bee reports that the new athletic director should be hired by next week. DHR International, the search firm that was used, will be paid $70,000 for their assistance.

    Tennessee-Chattanooga: Rob Robinson has been promoted to associate athletic director for business affairs. Robinson has been the assistant AD of compliance since August of 2013. Also, Kenneth Jones has been introduced as the director of compliance. Jones previously served as the compliance coordinator at UNC Wilmington.

    New Mexico State: Per the Albuquerque Journal, the four finalists to fill the AD position are Southern Illinois AD Mario Moccia, Indiana State AD Ron Prettyman, Nevada deputy AD Rory Hickok, and former UNLV deputy AD Gerard Koloski.

    Oakland: Padraic McMeel has been announced as the Grizzlies’ new senior associate athletics director for external affairs. He spent the past three years as the senior associate AD for external operations at Kennesaw State.

    Abilene Christian: Lee De Leon has been tabbed as the new AD at Abilene Christian. De Leon previously served as the associate director of athletics for development and executive director of the Lobo Club at New Mexico.

    Army: Athletic director Boo Corrigan is looking into possibly changing the Black Knights nickname to something that is identified more “regionally, nationally, and internationally,” per the Times Herald-Record.

    Fresno State: UC Davis athletic director Terry Tumey has publicly stated that he is not a candidate for the vacant Fresno State AD position, contrary to a report from the Fresno Bee. “There is no truth to the rumor at this point in time. I haven’t been contacted to be a candidate.” he told the Sacramento Bee.

    Lane College (D-II – TN): Lane College is looking to hire a new athletic director, and is now accepting applicants. The Director of Athletics is a twelve month position and responsible for successful execution in leading, planning, budgeting, developing, and directing all athletics programs and activities related to the college’s 12 intercollegiate sports: Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball. In addition, the Director provides leadership for the Department of Athletics within established financial plans; directs fund-raising activities necessary to supplement available financial resources; and participates in as many public relations activities as is practical in order to promote the college and its athletics program. Requirements: Bachelors degree in business administration, sports administration, or related field. Prefer a Master’s degree with previous athletic administration and supervisory experience.     Boston College: In an interview with the Boston Times-Herald, Boston College athletics director said of his name being mentioned for the Michigan job, “It really doesn’t distract me at all. I love it here at Boston College, my values align with the institutional mission and we’ve really enjoyed living in New England, one of the greatest cities in the world. It hasn’t been a distraction at all.”

    Loyola University (Chicago, IL): St. Bonaventure director of athletics Steve Watson has accepted the AD job at Loyola University in Chicago.
