    Miami: The University of Miami is looking for volunteer football operations interns. This is a non-coaching position involving daily interaction with coaches, players, and staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: meal checks, recruiting event duties, assistance with day to day operations, and special projects.  The expectation is a one year commitment beginning in June or July of 2015.  Interested candidates can send a cover letter, resume, and references to hurricanefootball@miami.edu.     Arizona: We understand that Arizona already has plans to fill the operations coordinator position left by Andrew Warsaw’s departure for Purdue (see below).

    Purdue: Per source, Arizona operations coordinator Andrew Warsaw will be the new DFO at Purdue.

    Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University has two football operations / summer camps intern positions available. This is a voluntary position that will include some meals and potentially housing. Interested candidates should email Coach Frana at Brian.Frana@smsu.edu with resume and references.     Eastern Kentucky: Eastern Kentucky is seeking unpaid intern positions. These positions are available to those aspiring to get into Film/Video, Operations and Equipment, and Marketing for football. The positions are all off the field positions with no housing, meals, or stipend. You will gain experience and knowledge in working with a Division I FCS football program. The person in these positions will be responsible for assisting in one or more areas of video, marketing, assist the recruiting coordinator with on campus activities, football operations, equipment, and other duties assigned by Head Coach and Director of Football Operations. Knowledge of video editing, strong communication and computer skills are preferred. Applicants will be required to successfully complete an interview.     Illinois: Nathan Scheelhaase, the former Illini quarterback, is joining the staff as the assistant director of football operations, per The News-Gazette.

    Robert Morris (NAIA – Chicago, IL): Robert Morris University is accepting applications for either a football operations Graduate Assistant position. Position may also be used to bring in a offensive skill position coach or kicker / punter coach. Prior coaching or playing experience for the position applied is required. A bachelor’s degree, 2.8 undergraduate GPA (or a 500 GMAT score), and admission to the Robert Morris Graduate School of Management is required. A 50% tuition waiver along with a $5,000 stipend will be provided. This position will remain open until filled.
