Dayton: The University Of Dayton Division Of Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of Coordinator for Football Operations. The University of Dayton, a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference and Pioneer Football League, has a broad-based, 17-sport intercollegiate athletics program. The Coordinator of Football Operations assists the football staff with day to day operations of the program. Core responsibilities include: day to day communication with players and staff, coordinating team travel (which includes securing hotel and travel reservations, arranging meals and meeting spaces), manage student video staff, duties as assigned by Recruiting Coordinator, daily administrative duties as assigned by Head Coach, and assist with coordination of activities associated with sports camps, clinics and team events. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in sports management or related field, previous experience competing and/or coaching or as a team manager at the collegiate level, demonstrated command of written communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with less than 6 points. Must be able to work some evenings, weekends and holidays. Preferred qualifications include: working knowledge of video editing systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office software, experience in managing all aspects of team travel, and ability to demonstrate command of verbal and organizational skills. Harvard: Harvard University is seeking applicants for an assistant football operations coordinator / video coordinator. This is a 10 month paid internship. The successful candidate will assist the football operations coordinator in the execution of team operations, video operations and video breakdown. The candidate will also assist the coaching staff in quality control tasks and responsibilities as needed. The preferred candidate will have experience in XOS Digital or similar system, as well as Microsoft Office applications, including Vizio. Playing and or coaching experience is welcome but not mandatory. The position will start August 1, 2015. DFO Spring Meetings: The annual DFO Spring meetings are set for May 4-5 in downtown Phoenix at the Renaissance Hotel. We will have a special rate of $109 for attendees.
