Downey ()CA): Downey HS is looking for defensive coaches to join the staff for the 2018 season, especially LBs and DBs. Opportunities available at Varsity and JV / Freshman levels based on experience. We have won our conference the last 5 years are and trying to get to the next level of competing for section & state titles. We need on-campus teacher-coaches, that are GREAT ROLE MODELS, especially defensive coaches, to get this done. We have a teaching opening FOR SURE in History for the next school year, which is rare in CA. We also have an opening in ENGLISH starting THIS JANUARY! We also almost always have teaching openings in Science and Math. You MUST be certificated to teach in these subject areas to be considered. Our district pays very well, and we have a 7:55am-2pm school day. Interested candidates can submit their interest here.
