Byron (MI): Byron Schartzer, a former defensive coordinator for the program, has been named head coach.

Bertie (NC): Bertie HS  has an assistant coaching position opening. Certified teaching openings are in Math, Science, English, and CTE. Classified position opening as a computer lab facilitator as well. Please email [email protected] and AD Randy Whitaker at [email protected].

Chris Ash “On Edge” at Rutgers: New head football coach Chris Ash inherits a Rutgers program that has finished in fourth place or lower in the East division of the Big Ten conference, including one bowl win in the last four seasons, all amidst numerous off the field issues. So in his effort to change the culture at Rutgers, Ash, who has spent the last two seasons as Urban Meyer’s defensive coordinator at Ohio State, has already implemented some of the “on edge” coaching methodology that Meyer has used with his programs since his days at the University of Florida. X&O Labs’ Mike Kuchar spent time with Coach Ash talking about his plan to change the culture in Piscataway. Read the exclusive interview here.

Gahanna Lincoln (OH): Head coach Bruce Ward has been suspended for the first two games of the season.

Morgantown (WV): Former Magnolia HS head coach Josh Sims has joined the Morgantown staff as an assistant coach. Sims will coach the quarterbacks and serve as assistant head coach.
