With February’s national signing day just days away, the focus for many college and high school coaches and high school players is on the recruiting process.

Which brings me to something that Detroit football powerhouse Martin Luther King King HS (MI) assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Terel Patrick shared via his social media recently. For those unfamiliar with Detroit’s MLK, they’re stacked with Division I talent year in and year out (247 lists FIVE Martin Luther King players in their top 50 players in the state), and the coaching staff there does a tremendous job developing the talent on their roster. College coaches around the country are regularly visiting MLK looking for the type of kids and talent to make their football roster better.
