Kansas' uniform set is about to get much more colorful

Aside from the occasional red jersey now and then, Kansas' football uniforms have stayed largely conservative in recent years

Not any more.

In a video teaser released by Charlie Weis Monday afternoon, the Jayhawks provided a short (and we do mean short) glimpse of some colorful additions to the KU uniform closet. 

The KU lettering, used on the Jayhawks' helmet in some form or another since 1990, is gone in favor of the Jayhawk logo utilized on football helmets throughout much of the 1970's and '80's and prominently displayed at Phog Allen Fieldhouse.  

In addition to the traditional blue, the video displays white, red, black looks as well as a baby blue throwback, with uniforms to match.
