It's long, but Stanford's "Run to the Roses" video is worth your time

By know you know the story: after losing Jim Harbaugh and Andrew Luck in consecutive seasons, Stanford keeps getting better. Ranked No. 21 in preseason, the Cardinal won their first Pac-12 championship since 1999 and closed the year with its first Rose Bowl victory in four decades.

Appropriately titled "Road to the Roses", this 43-minute, 52-second epic takes you blow-by-blow through the 2012 season, beginning with head coach David Shaw's message to the team the day after the 2012 Fiesta Bowl that closed the 2011 season.

Even if you don't have time to watch the whole thing, whatever free time you do have will be best spent getting to know how one of the model programs in college football does its business. You won't regret it.
