Video: Todd Monken catches a punt, and ends up soaking wet

0-3 isn't exactly how Todd Monken pictured his head coaching debut starting off, but after opening with Texas State, Nebraska and Arkansa, that's exactly how things have shaken out for him and his staff at Southern Miss

However, the slow start hasn't stopped Monken and his guys from finding a creative way to break up the monotony of practice to do some fun team building activities.

The staff set up events ranging from the classic egg toss, to the more creative long snap relay and hula hoop race. The most comical event might be the punt catching contest where most of the big fellas completely misjudge the ball before the coaches (including coach Monken) and a few other guests (including head strength coach Mark Smith) get in on the action.

Monken got two chances to reel in a punt, and the players treated his second attempt (a catch) like they would a sideline celebration after a win. In other words, Monken got soaked.

These guys are obviously having a ton of fun, and we're interested to see how they respond the rest of the season.
