Muscle Milk wins the gesture of the day

Part of the Grambling roster's stated reasoning for its historic boycott last week was that the training budget had become so comically underfunded to a point where players had to buy Gatorade and Muscle Milk out of their own pockets.

As the players return to the field this week, they do so knowing their complaints remain unassuaged, but at least they'll have some Muscle Milk provided for them. That's because the company stepped up and donated 384 cases of their product to the Grambling football team.

As noted by USA Today, the 384 cases contain 4,608 individual beverages which, when divided over the 80-man roster, equates to 11 bottles per player per week through the November 30 season finale.
