VIDEO: Try to find a happier locker room than this

Rice will not play for a national championship. They won't play in a BCS game. They won't be ranked in the top 25.

And they couldn't care less.

Rice won the Conference USA championship on Saturday with a 41-24 win over Marshall. It's the Owls first Conference USA title, and first outright conference championship since winning the Southwest Conference championship since 1957.

Following the win, Rice was invited to play in the Liberty Bowl - they'll face Mississippi State on New Year's Eve - and you could say they're pretty excited about it.

This jubilant locker room is a testament to the outstanding job done by David Bailiff and his staff. Rice is 10-3 this season and 15-3 over its last 18 games.
