Bill Snyder's 16 building blocks for a program

ESPN recently wrote an article about Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder and his building blocks for a program. Snyder currently has the Wildcats ranked #11, and will take on Kansas this weekend.

Snyder's 16 building blocks include: commitment, unselfishness unity, improve, be tough, self-discipline, great effort, enthusiasm. eliminate mistakes, never give up, expect to win, no self-limitations, don’t accept losing, consistency, leadership, and responsibility.

The belief in these building blocks are one of the reasons that the Wildcats have been able to overcome being out gained the last 4 games, and yet still find a way to win.

"I’m not so sure that statistics win ballgames for you. I don’t think many coaches really believe in that. I think we've had good fortune. I think our youngsters have played hard" Snyder said about the past few wins.

Snyder will lead the Wildcats in their rivalry game with Kansas this weekend, before preparing for a big showdown with Oklahoma on the 29th.
