Video: Ole Miss players vs. coaches 7 on 7

Back during bowl season, Ole Miss players made a friendly wager with the coaches in the form of a short 7 on 7 game before practice.

If the players won, practice got cut down a little bit...but the kicker was that the coaches got to pick the players.

Hugh Freeze served as the head referee before the game and reminded the players that it was a game of two hand touch.

"Remember, these men have families." Freeze told the guys. The game ended up going down to the wire with the players getting the last possession.

Take a look at the game footage.

Looks like it was a blast, and there's no doubt that recruits will definitely appreciate it and love the atmosphere that has been created by Freeze and his staff in Oxford.

Samuels joined the FootballScoop staff after serving as a college scout as well as an assistant coach at the college level, where he was fortunate enough to have coached every offensive position by age 24. Samuels is lifelong Michigan State fan and has admittedly enjoyed the past few seasons when he has been able to look forward to quality football the entire fall, instead of anxiously awaiting college basketball after the first few weeks of the college football season.
