Virginia Tech breaking out camo helmets vs. Marshall

Virginia Tech hasn't been afraid to tinker with its classic maroon-and-orange "VT" helmets in recent years. They've gone retro, sported some state pride and at times been just plain weird. After all, who can forget the cartoon turkeys the Hokies debuted in their win at Boston College last season?

This time around, Frank Beamer's squad will be wearing camo. This isn't the first time they've gone that route, but it is the first time they'll be sporting camo-themed uniforms in Virginia Tech's traditional colors.

Look for the Hokies to don this outfit on Sept. 21 against Marshall, which just so happens to be Military Appreciation Day at Lane Stadium.

What do you think?
