Melvin Smith mic'd up with the corners at Auburn

Not only does Auburn corners coach Melvin Smith have nearly 20 years of experience in the SEC, but he also joins Gus Malzahn's staff after tutoring the Jim Thorpe award winner last season in Jonathan Banks at Mississippi State.

Those accomplishments will definitely get a players attention.

Smith has a wealth of knowledge coaching the secondary, and is a ton of fun to watch on the practice field. You can tell he loves being out at practice helping his guys become the best that they can be.
