Just two days after Scott Shafer's departure, D.J. Durkin has his replacement.
FootballScoop has confirmed reports from Scout and Fox Sports that Durkin has hired Andy Buh to become the Terps' defensive coordinator. Buh spent the 2015 season as Kentucky's outside linebackers coach, and prior to that deposited one season as California's defensive coordinator.
Most significantly, Buh spent three seasons as linebackers coach (the final two as co-defensive coordinator) working alongside D.J. Durkin on Jim Harbaugh's staff at Stanford.
Buh coached previously in the Big Ten, spending the 2012 season as Wisconsin's linebackers coach.
