We apologize for going so Bret Bielema-heavy on you today, but, for recruiting junkies, what Arkansas just published is, well, borderline erotic.
The Hogs have logged and now published every single trip Bielema took during recruiting season. From Nov. 29 through Jan. 29, six weeks of recruiting, Bielema traveled a total of 19,714 air miles -- and that's not counting miles in a car to get from the airfield in Magnolia, Ark., to Johnny Five-Star's house and back.
Arkansas also dated each trip, highlighting that Bielema flew 5,153 miles between Nov. 29 and Dec. 3, and that he hit five different stops -- Fayetteville to Texarkana, Texas, Texarkana to Houston, Houston to Beaumont, Texas, Beaumont to New Orleans, New Orleans to Magnolia, Ark., and Magnolia back home to Fayetteville -- on Dec. 13 alone.
Take a look for yourself below.
And, in reality, this is actually child's play for a number of FBS head coaches. As you'll see, most of Bielema's travel was limited between Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. True national recruiters like Brian Kelly or Jim Harbaugh may scoff at this.
Between this and the "Being Bret Bielema" series, the Bielema camp has done a very nice job marketing their coach of late.
