AFCA executive director Todd Berry announced Wednesday the organization is proposing an early signing date on the third Wednesday in December. This was but one of many policy positions Berry announced Wednesday.
The NCAA has issued a proposal of June and December signing dates, but Berry said Wednesday the AFCA rejected the June proposal while endorsing the December one.
A final vote will not come until April, and would take effect for the 2017-18 recruiting cycle.
