BYU has four uniforms, and they’re all fabulous. The regular blues, the classic royal blues, the alternate home blacks and the road whites. Rather than surrender themselves to the handcuffs of tradition, BYU will trot out all four of its sets over the course of the Cougars’ six games at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

BYU you will wear each alternate once, leaving only three games for the traditional blue jerseys: Houston (Sept. 11), Nevada (Oct. 18), and Savannah State (Nov. 22).

The Cougars have worn their royal blues four times previously, most recently in 2013, and donned their all blacks only once before, against Oregon State in 2012. They have never worn white at home.

You can’t say you weren’t warned, BYU fans.
