Syracuse released a great video recently that took quotes from Dino Babers' introductory presser as the new head coach of the program.
In the clip, 'Cuse uses quotes from that presser where Babers talks about what Syracuse football will look like, and encourages fan to close their eyes and visualize a team that plays relentless, well coached, and faster than they've ever seen before.
"That's going to be a reality. That's going to be Syracuse football," Babers tells those in attendance with conviction.
...then they fast forward to last Saturday, October 13th, 2017, where Syracuse made Babers a man of his word at home in The Carrier Dome when they upset the defending national champs, Clemson. The rest of the clip is full of movie-quality highlights from that game, the celebration after, and Babers special post game talk with the team.
So did Babers predict it? Eh...not exactly, but the video has some fun bringing light to a few things that did come to fruition last weekend in a very special win for the program.
While he may not have outright predicted it, it does show what Syracuse is capable of when they execute what his vision for the program on the day he was introduced as their new head coach, and that's a pretty cool testament.
