Don’t ask Nick Saban if it’s okay to lose a game

Every year there comes a time when Nick Saban fears his team may feel it’s okay to let up, and he takes his anticipated anger out on the media. Usually that comes in the middle of November when Alabama plays an FCS tune-up game before the Iron Bowl, but that didn’t happen this year. Instead, he saved it for the Monday before the SEC Championship.

Says something about the state of things at Alabama and the rest of the SEC, doesn’t it?

Anyway, a reporter took a quote from a Crimson Tide player and asked a question about if he feels it’s okay to lose on Saturday given that Alabama is very much in the College Football Playoff┬áno matter what happens in Atlanta.

Spoiler: Saban doesn’t think it’s okay.
