I have a confession to make. Understand that this is not an easy thing for me, for anyone, to admit, but it’s time I face the facts and admit the reality of the situation. As the great Tyrion Lannister once said, “Most men would rather deny a hard truth than face it.” I am not most men.

So with that said, here goes…

Whoooo. I’m nervous.

Okay, here we go.

I’m not good at picking games. Just flat out terrible at it.

After finishing last a year ago (by a mile) and promising to rectify that by going 195-0 this year, I couldn’t even make that promise last for one day. Despite out-gaining Northwestern by 71 yards, Purdue’s 3-0 turnover deficit deemed the Boilermakers to an opening night loss, and me to a FootballScoop Pick ‘Em hole I’ll likely never crawl out of. Saturday was even worse, as I stumbled to a 7-8 start, while Scott and Doug are deadlocked at 11-4.

With all that said, I feel better having that off my chest, though you may not feel better about following my stupid, horrible, no good, very bad picks.

Here are our Week 2 picks.
