A Houston HS (almost) pulled off a miracle ending (high schools)

Dallas Bishop Dunne and Houston St. Pius X met last weekend in a TAPPS Class 6A state semifinal game. Trailing 21-18 with the ball at their own 30 and time for only one play, St. Pius needed a miracle.

They nearly got one.

What follows here is rivals Stanford-Cal and Trinity-Millsaps among wild endings. I count one completed pass, two recovered fumbles and 10 laterals.

This craziness happened at the end of St. Pius/Bishop Dunne, but was wiped out by penalty, #noquit#txhsfbpic.twitter.com/yumKb2pT6P

Sadly, a penalty in its own end zone wiped out the game winning touchdown and Bishop Dunne held on to win, 23-18.
