Matt Canada mic’d up over two practices at LSU: “We’ve got to be able to beat the grass”

On Monday, we did a piece highlighting Matt Canada mic’d up during one of his first practices on the field with LSU since leaving Pitt back in mid-December.

What you see from coach Canada on the field is a man full passion for the game and never-ending enthusiasm and energy.

After one session, after a litany “BAM, BAM, BAMs,” of Canada tells players that, “We’ve got to be able to beat the grass. Everybody understand? We play the best conference in America, we play the best players in America, we’ve got to be able to beat the grass with our technique, our details, and our focus on what we’re doing.”
