Military dad holds surprise reunion with family at Nebraska spring game (Nebraska)

We're to the point now where any military family with a loved one stationed overseas that's asked by their local sports team to come down onto the field should instantly become suspicious. We've seen enough of these videos now for these families to know they're in for more than a simple pat on the back from the home town team, but, still, teams keep pulling them off and we're all better for it.

This time around, Nebraska asked the Hawke family to take part in the coin toss before the Huskers' Red-White spring game. Except, as they came to find out, it wasn't a simple coin toss as their father and husband, Staff Sergeant Matthew Hawke, was dressed as a Nebraska player.
