For the past six years Nike and Oregon have collaborated to bring a new set of uniforms to the spring game, and this year that tradition continues with the addition of Apple Green (home) and Gold (away) "Salute the Day" uniforms.
The helmet design is brand new and the GoDucks release describes it as "a custom four-duck flying formation decal evolved from the soaring duck logo featured on past Oregon Spring Game uniform patches. The new flying formation on the helmet celebrates veterans of all military branches and is inspired by jet formations that pay tribute to fallen soldiers."
As if you needed any further proof, nobody (and I mean NOBODY) does uniform and helmet alternates like Oregon does. The attention to detail is always impressive.
One cool detail of these new uniforms is located on the left sleeve where a service ribbon of the Ducks' 2015 schedule is displayed in or, represented by each program's color.
