Last week FootballScoop had exclusive video of Tennessee State defensive end Latrelle Lee punching Tigers strength coach T.J. Greenstone in what appeared to be an unprovoked assault.

Lee was quickly booted from the program and the university, but the punishment phase of his punch is just beginning.

On Tuesday, the Tennessean reported Lee has been charged with one count of felony assault. He was booked into jail Monday night and later released on a $7,500 bond, according to online records.

“Once struck about the face by the defendant, the victim fell to the ground and was dazed and somewhat unconscious from the punches,” according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Tennessean. “The victim has subsequently been having medical difficulties as a result from the altercation.”

Lee was scheduled to graduate from Tennessee State on Dec. 9.
