With Mother's Day just days away, ECU head coach Scottie Montgomery decided to surprise the mother of one of his walk-on players with a visit at her place of work to let her know her son had earned a scholarship.
The moment is really something special, and Tia Chapman can't contain her emotions as Coach Mo talks about how special her son is and how hard he has worked.
That's not where the warm-and-fuzzies end though, as coach Montgomery had Tia Chapman call her son (Kiante Anderson) to deliver the great news.
It's a really cool, life-changing moment, between a football program and a family. Props to coach Mo and his staff for this one.
