Sources tell FootballScoop App State target Dwayne Ledford is taking a new job; but it won’t be at App State.

Ledford, sources tell FootballScoop, will join Scott Satterfield’s staff at Louisville.

After working with Satterfield 2012 – 2015 at App State, Ledford was hired by Dave Doeren to coach offensive line at NC State. Ledford has consistently been mentioned as one of the top offensive line coaches in the ACC the past three seasons and has been a big key to the Wolfpack’s offensive success.

Ledford, who played at East Carolina before spending a number of years in the NFL, served as Satterfield’s co-offensive coordinator / offensive line his final three seasons at App State. At NC State he currently serves as associate head coach / run game coordinator / offensive line.

Our President since 2008, Scott oversees daily operations. An outstanding high school athlete (he wrote that), he chose to go pro in something other than playing football (i.e. he couldn't break a 5.0 40 yard dash). Prior to purchasing FootballScoop, Scott served as a vice president of The Shaw Group, a Fortune 500 company, for eight years.
