Sources told FootballScoop Tuesday evening that Utah State’s search continues. Sunday we reported Gary Andersen was expected to be the choice barring any unforeseen complications; but sources tell FootballScoop University, Athletics and Search leadership were not all on the same page with regards to that decision.

Andersen remains a viable candidate in the eyes of some decision makers and key influencers at Utah State sources tell FootballScoop; but since our report Sunday there have been considerable discussions about fully considering other candidates.

We understand all parties at Utah State held conversations Sunday and it was agreed interviews would carry on as planned. Source tells FootballScoop interviews are not expected to be completed this week given travel schedules and now that DHR has set out to broaden the search.
