As our culture gets faster and our attention spans shorter, the hype video is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Gone, largely, are the 2- or 3-minute epics in favor of minute-or-less videos that can be produced daily.
That's not to say the quality has dropped, however. Quite the opposite. Creative video is the biggest growth area in college football right now. Because recruits take their smart phones with them everywhere they go, programs must be able to recruit them at all times.
South Carolina recently hired Gamecock graduate Justin King away from AL.com to serve as associate AD for new and creative media, and his department's latest offering is a masterpiece.
