Southern Illinois has parted ways with head coach Dale Lennon, sources told FootballScoop Monday.
Lennon was 48-34 in seven years on the job. He led the Salukis to back-to-back Missouri Valley Football Conference championships in 2007-08, but went just 28-29 after that, including 19-21 in MVFC play.
Lennon also served as the head coach at the University of Mary (1997-98) and North Dakota (1999-07), leading UND to the Division II national championship in 2001.
