Over the past few seasons, many rivalries have come to an end. 2011 was the last year that Texas and Texas A&M squared off, and this weekend another historic rivalry will come to an end (for the forseeable future at least) Michigan and Notre Dame face off for a final time.
The two teams have played nearly every season dating back to 1978, and with the Fighting Irish's new one-foot-in, one-foot-out foray into the ACC, there has been no productive talks between the two programs to schedule further games.
