Last night, Tommy Tuberville issued a statement via Twitter regarding his outburst directed at a fan following the Bearcats 20-3 loss to BYU.

Yesterday, athletic director Mike Bohn weighed in by noting, “Coach Tuberville was put in a no-win situation in front of his team last night which resulted in an out of character response for him. He expressed frustrations from an emotional game. Our team, led by our seniors, is fully engaged with coach and his staff to fight to the finish.””
In the incident from Saturday, which was captured on video, the fan can be heard yelling at coach Tuberville; “Hey Tommy, you’re stealing. You’re stealing from this university. You’re stealing Tommy.”
Tuberville responded, clearly frustrated.

Cincinatti, currently sitting at 4-5, closes the season with a trip to UCF, a home game against Mike Norvell and Memphis, and then a trip to Tulsa. Bowl eligbility is still in reach if Cinci can manage two wins in those last three games.
