ESPN's production department loves them some Miami football.
Following the success of "The U" and its creatively-titled successor "The U Part 2," ESPN on Tuesday announced plans to show its next documentary focusing on 'Canes football, this one on the famous "Catholics vs. Convicts" game against Notre Dame in 1988.
The documentary will show on Saturday, Dec. 10, immediately following the Heisman Trophy presentation.
Fans of a certain age will surely remember the bizarre circumstances that created this rivalry and the heat those circumstances inspired. For fans not of a certain age, I won't spoil the ending.
