Texas A&M-Commerce has signed an exclusive, department-wide apparel contract with Under Armour -- the first of its kind in Division II -- a source told FootballScoop Wednesday.
The deal will begin this fall and last through the 2019-20 athletic year, and will be made formal late Wednesday morning. Financial terms were not immediately known.
As part of the contract, Under Armour will be the head-to-toe apparel supplier for all 14 Texas A&M-Commerce teams. The deal came about through A&M-Commerce athletics director Tim McMurray, who previously served as the senior associate AD for external affairs at Maryland, Under Armour's charter client.
For head coach Colby Carthel's football program, the UA deal means the Lions will don their third uniform in as many years.

While the the Lions' football uniforms are still a work in progress, here are the markups Under Armour has provided the A&M-Commerce.
