There’s a lot of people out there that like to propose at sporting events, and I’ve always found it a very risky practice. How do you know your girlfriend is cool with a proposal in front of 60,000 strangers? How sure are you of a yes, because that kind of rejection is hard to live down. And most importantly, how are you going to watch the rest of the game after you’ve just gotten engaged?

San Francisco 49ers fan Scott got the best of both worlds with his proposal to his girlfriend Sarah. He worked in a sports angle without the public humiliation risk by getting down on that one knee during a tour of the 49ers’ brand-new Levi’s Stadium.

“Just like the 49ers are going to go to their next chapter, this is the perfect place for us to start the next chapter with something great. Will you be my wife?”
