First it was Arizona with their re-make of Speed, starring Rich Rodriguez, and now UConn is getting in on the fun with this short (and somewhat puzzling) video with an appearance from Bob Diaco.
It all started with this tweet from the UConn Football account this morning that leaves everyone with more questions than answers.
Then the video (bigger version below) shows you to a clip of an apparent break in at the Burton Football Complex, with a very distinct Mission Impossible flavor to it.
Towards the end of the video is Diaco's appearance, but it looks like we'll have to wait for the next clip and see what his role in the break in was and where this is going. One UConn beat writer seems to think that a uniform (and perhaps helmet) change may be on the horizon.
The whole movie inspired short clips is a theme that seems to be gaining steam with college football programs over the past year, so it's interesting to see UConn get in on the action.
