After Ohio State's Rose Bowl win over Washington last night, and as Urban Meyer's tenure leading the Buckeyes came to an end, cameras were rolling in the locker room for Meyer's last moments officially leading the team.
Urban talked a bit about the game, and the team being at their best when they needed it the most, recapped their season a bit, and then literally handed the program off to new head coach Ryan Day.
With a smile on Day's face from ear-to-ear, Urban ceremoniously took the whistle from around his neck, and placed it on the neck of the Buckeyes new leader - Ryan Day.
Day then shares a few words of wisdom with the team he's now in charge of while acknowledging all that Urban has done for him, the program, and Buckeye nation.
It's a pretty special, and really cool, moment.
Urban will now transition to his role as an assistant athletic director and shift his focus to co-teaching a class on campus about character and leadership.
