Cincinnati and Miami (Ohio), renewing a rivalry that I bet you didn’t know existed. The Bearcats and RedHawks have played since 1888; Miami holds the all-time lead, but Cincinnati has owned the Victory Bell of late with wins in the last 10 meetings.

A new aspect to the rivalry that they didn’t have back in the 19th century: the teams’ respective video staffs duking it out on Twitter.

So, the all important question: Was this an actual fight or a food fight typical of the Twitter era? It clearly started as friendly banter, but right around the time actual video smack started getting hurled around…

… that it turned real. That’s what we’ll choose to believe, at least.
