Dartmouth head coach Buddy Teevens appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" last night to promote the Big Green's Mobile Virtual Player, a moving tackling dummy that we debuted on FootballScoop a few weeks ago.
Dartmouth does not tackle in practice, but the MVP allows the Big Green an outlet to work on their form without banging on each other. Teevens says Dartmouth has enjoyed an 80 percent injury reduction since utilizing the MVPs. "Most concussions occur in practice, more so than in games," he said.
The segment provided some great exposure for Teevens and Dartmouth, and ended with Colbert giving the dummy a try himself.
