US Ski and Snowboard Association: The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association is accepting applications for its strength and conditioning internship. Duties will include: educational curriculum; S&C program design and training sessions; sports physiology and athlete testing; and presentations and reading assignments. Interns will be immersed in the staff and perform all the duties of a full-time strength and conditioning coach. The internship runs from mid-April to mid-October, 2016, and does offer a monthly stipend. Interns are responsible for all costs associated with relocation, accommodations, transportation, etc. Successful candidates have a desire to be a full-time strength and conditioning coach, can commit to the full duration of the internship, and often meet the follow preferences: enrolled or completion of BS or MS degree in Exercise Science; athletic experience as an athlete, coach, or volunteer; highly motivated and willingness to learn; CPR, First Aid, and AED certified; experience with Olympic lifting or experience in a strength and conditioning setting; and NSCA, CSCCa, or USAW certifications.
