Memphis: Grad assistant. The University of Memphis is seeking an individual with the capacity to work with a variety of student-athletes as a strength and conditioning professional. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design and implement sport specific training programs for assigned team(s); supervise both individual and team training sessions; maintain team and individual records and training data; provide appropriate maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and the weight room; motivate small and large groups of student-athletes; ability to reinforce set rules of the weight room and per sport coach; passion for the strength and conditioning field. Requirements: NSCA CSCS certification, current First Aid and CPR certification, previous experience in designing and implementing programs for athletes in a team setting, collegiate experience through an internship, acceptance into the Masters Degree program at the University.
