Houston Texans: The Texans have hired Kansas City Chiefs strength coach Cedric Smith.

Ohio State: The Ohio State Football Strength and Conditioning coaches are accepting applications for the position of Football Performance Intern for the Winter off-season and spring football (15-weeks).  There is one position available and the position will start as soon as possible.  This is a highly competitive and demanding internship.  The daily responsibilities will include: 1. Assist with supervision and execution of strength training, speed, and conditioning programs for all Ohio State Buckeye football student-athletes. 
2. Attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities. 3. Participation in professional development curriculum and various projects. 4. Assist with implementation of NFL draft training for outgoing Ohio State Buckeye student-athletes. Compensation:  Division I Intercollegiate experience, earned recommendation toward further success as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, and college credit toward graduation if applicable. Qualifications:  Minimum requirements: Strong work ethic, Highly motivated; Must be of senior status in a Bachelor’s degree program geared toward Exercise Physiology or a related field; CPR/AED certification; Experience as a college athlete or in a college strength and conditioning setting.  Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a program geared toward Exercise Physiology or a related field, nationally-accredited strength and condition certification (PES, CSCS, USAW, SCCC, etc.), Ohio resident.
