Coastal Carolina: Coastal Carolina University is now accepting applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning SUMMER VOLUNTEER INTERN. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for various sports, teaching student athletes proper technique and equipment use, attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities, participation in weekly projects, and professional development throughout the internship program. Intern qualifications include: punctuality; enthusiasm; strong work ethic; and strong communication skills Preferred qualifications include: senior status or completion of a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; SCCC, CSCS certification; CPR certification. Interns will receive experience working for a highly competitive Division I University, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable. Candidates must have a strong desire to become strength and conditioning professional. Florida A&M: Florida A&M University is now accepting applications for its 2017-2018 Summer/Fall Internship Program. The Florida A&M Internship Program is a VOLUNTARY position starting immediately. Learn the inner workings of a Division-1 program and work for coaches who blend tradition with scientific foundation. Florida A&M is looking for individuals who are motivated, hardworking, and detail oriented. This is an UNPAID position. Applicants should be pursuing or have a certification through the NSCA, CSCCa, or equivalent. A degree in exercise science or equivalent background is strongly encouraged.
