Missouri: Former head strength coach Pat Ivey will now serve as assistant vice chancellor for inclusion, diversity, and equity and he will earn $150k annually, per David Morrison.
University of Tulsa: Department of Athletic Performance is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant (GA) position. GA responsibilities include: Design and implement training protocols for designated teams. Ability to work, write, speak and communicate effectively with staff, administrators and sport coaches. Ability to teach and execute proper technique of lifts and drills. Coordinate, evaluate, compile and communicate performance targets. Delegation of daily administrative and maintenance items to interns. Completion of various educational assignments during the assistantship. Graduate Assistant requirements include: Bachelor’s degree; Exercise Science or related field preferred. Experience in an NCAA four year college or university weight room working with a variety of teams. Possession of the following personality traits; strong work ethic, punctuality, enthusiasm. Graduate Assistant preferred qualifications include: SCCC, CSCS, or USAW certification and background as a competitive collegiate athlete.
